My approach to my audition of 'Our House' will be both committed and professional. I will accomplish this through multiple ways in preparation for the audition by doing things like learning the two songs to the best of my ability. The songs I will be performing is It Must Be Love by Madness and 7 by Catfish and The Bottlemen. I have chosen these because I think that they are both contrasting and can show a good vocal range and have different styles of singing and vocal skills.
Another way I will prepare for my audition is researching the characters I am going for and look at past performances and so I can get an idea of how the character acts and behaves in different situations and scenarios and also ways I can bring my own interpretation of the character into the role. This will mean brining full energy to the role and audition so I could show my full potential.

Character profile - I will be playing the character of Joe and I feel that I could really engage with this role because it has similar character traits to myself. He is a quite a happy go lucky guy but serious when he needs to be and I feel like this is a good mix to experiment with.
